GunnerCooke – Brand Animation





I. Challenge

GunnerCooke take a transparent, modern approach to law, working on a fixed fee basis rather than the timesheets used by firms for centuries. It’s a small but crucial difference, symbolic of the vision they wanted to share with potential new partners.

II. Solution

We explored visual ways to demonstrate the stark difference between the old legacy of law, and the pioneering approach led by GunnerCooke. To capture this concept, we produced an animation that told a story of the move away from medieval practices towards a brave new world.

Animations, supported by voiceover, offered a creative way to present the values and heritage of GunnerCooke. By weaving a narrative, we aimed to set the firm apart from its competitors and engage top talent.

III. Impact

Over the last three years, GunnerCooke have grown from 20 partners to over 120. The animation has been integral to the organisation’s recruitment efforts, and continues to play a key role in their communications.
