The Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply is the global professional body for the procurement and supply profession. CIPS was awarded a series of funding from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. This was to help bring procurement to the healthcare service in the continent of Africa, forming ‘Health Procurement Africa’.
Purple frog approached us to support them to undertake phase 1 which consisted of creating health procurement animations, podcasts & e-Learning content.
Phase 1 countries included Nigeria, Kenya and South Africa. We researched extensively to find and create a character to summarise the demographic of doctors, nurses and healthcare providers that were stakeholders in this project. We settled on a universal style that we felt could inform and encourage users as well as simply showcasing the platform.
Developing Health Procurement Animations, Podcasts & e-Learning Content with global stakeholders was logistically challenging but we embraced the production challenge. We managed all communication with the overseas experts and enabled them to record and contribute remotely whilst utilising our podcast host and local procurement experts.
Feedback was incredibly positive and all stakeholders were thrilled with the health procurement animations, e-Learning content and podcasts. They fully embraced the character we created and we are now moving onto phase 2.
